House of Dawn is poised to be Richmond’s new hot spot for elevated Asian food
With innovative drinks, plush decor, and a modern spin on classic dishes, House of Dawn is serving up something special. “We always feel like there are not many places in Richmond where we can have cocktails and Asian food in a big space and gather people together,” explains chef Danny Deng, one of the co-founders of the new upscale-casual eatery. “This place is meant to solve that gap.”

Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol
Set during the 1930s in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, this uplifting musical reimagines Ebenezer Scrooge as the owner of a mining company town, where his callous greed blinds him to the joys of the season. As a Christmas Eve snowstorm approaches, Scrooge is visited by his deceased business partner and three ghosts who compel him to see life and love anew. Dickens’s classic characters and Parton’s one-of-a-kind songwriting make this the holiday event to share with friends and family.
This holiday heart-warmer returns November 14–December 24 to the Arts Club's Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage.
