Trans Girls: Raw and Uncut is ready to rumble

“Trans girls are usually the punching bags,” muses mononymous comedian Kay. But the comic remains determined to change that. She created Canada’s first all-trans femme comedy show last year—and now, the one-off is slowly growing into a regular event. “It needs to be good enough that people want to come back,” she explains. “And it has to contribute to the culture in a way that isn’t going to get me fucking cancelled.”
