Family remains at the heart of Kam Wai Dim Sum

A decade ago, William Liu was living in New York and pursuing a career in opera. Then he received a phone call that altered the course of his life: his father’s health was failing and the family business, Kam Wai Dim Sum, was on the verge of being sold. “I was almost on the brink of tears,” Liu recalled. But he knew what he had to do: return to Vancouver and run the beloved dim sum business himself.
