Plus: ABC allegations, emerging artists, and Dahlia’s globe-trotting chef
Hey there. How are you holding up?
It seems to be the time of year where everyone is coming down with something. Remember, if you’re sick, it’s okay to stay home. Robert Lepage and Guillaume Côté’s Hamlet
Ex Machina + Côté Danse’s Hamlet, Prince of Denmark reinvents the archetypal drama into something raw and immediate. Canonical soliloquies that parse the darkest of human instincts and actions: corruption, suicide, betrayal and murder find a riveting new form.
Guillaume Côté embodies the central character, wrestling with existential questions of being and nothingness, while Robert Lepage, a master of multiple theatrical disciplines, infuses the Bard’s epic tale of intergenerational trauma with contemporary relevance.
Don’t miss Hamlet, Prince of Denmark by Ex Machina & Côté Danse (Quebec City & Toronto) at the Vancouver Playhouse, March 18-21, 2026.
