Dovetail to open new concept in former MeeT Yaletown space

With vegan comfort food spot MeeT consolidating its operations back into its MeeT on Main location, some people were wondering what would be next for the bright Yaletown storefront. Canadian Psycho carves out space for a new kind of serial killer

It’s kind of weird that contemporary culture loves true crime so much that it has turned serial killers into celebrities. And, in Marlene Ginader’s view, the real problem is that all the famous murderers are men. “It seemed like a fun metaphor to use to explore representation in a satirical way,” Ginader says of her new play, Canadian Psycho, which is playing now at Firehall Arts Centre.
