Rise FC Kicks Off Era Next Wednesday
Vancouver Rise FC will make history next Wednesday, April 16, at BC Place, as the city’s first professional women’s soccer team debuts in the Northern Super League (NSL) against Calgary Wild FC.
The historic match kicks off at 7:00 p.m., with the team’s remaining home games hosted at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby. Led by Olympic medalist Quinn and various Canadian and international players, Rise FC aims to inspire a new generation of players and fans.
The NSL, founded by Diana Matheson, features six teams across Canada, with Rise FC poised to become a cornerstone of women’s soccer on the West Coast.
